This is my first year incorporating a Senior Model program into my photography business, and so I was so nervous planning out the inaugural senior model editorial/photo shoot! I placed a call for Senior Models on my Facebook page a few months ago, and the feedback was great! There were several girls from all over Maryland who applied, and it was very, very difficult to choose the 4 Senior Models. I was looking for girls who were close to the Baltimore area (there was one girl who applied from another state!); girls who were heavily involved in their school activities and the community; and so in the end, I welcomed 4 fantastic young females into the Sarah Harper Photography Senior Model program!
MEET THE SHP CLASS OF 2014 SENIOR MODELS (from left to right):
Niki H. / Winters Mill High School / Class of 2014
Niki is part of the field hockey and track programs at Winter’s Mills, and is CPR/AED Certified. She involved in fundraising projects for the senior class and athletic programs, and she has 600 service learning hours from working with special needs kids throughout the years. In her free time, she loves to babysit for multiple families in her hometown.
Lizzie / Our Lady of Good Counsel High School / Class of 2014
Lizzie has been on her school’s cheerleading squad since Freshman year, and she has had a blast with it! She plans to run for captain next year and lead the squad that has become so dear to her heart. Last spring, she also ran track, which she says was an equally rewarding experience. Every Sunday, Lizzie makes and collects sandwiches for Martha’s Table, an organization focusing on serving nutritious meals to low income families. This summer, she also plans on making a week-long mission trip to Camden, NJ to work with children who are struggling in their current living situations.
Kellie / Maurice J. McDonough High School / Class of 2014
At school, Kellie participates in the student-run Student Government and Divine Ladies organizations, where she is part of planning several school and county-wide events. Her dad and brother coach a youth football team in the Westlake Bulldogs Youth Football League, and Kellie tags alongside and helps out with their teams in her free time.
Nikki F. / McDonogh School / Class of 2014
Nikki runs on her school’s cross country and indoor track team, and she also plays lacrosse. She works in the summers as a lifeguard and volunteers with Our Daily Bread, serving meals to those in Baltimore City who need assistance. In her free time, she enjoys drawing.
